Welcome to TruCareer. By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise accessing our website, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you ("user," "you") agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About TruCareer

TruCareer is a career intelligence platform that helps people research salary information, interview experience, employer reputation, and other career-related insights for the Bangladeshi job market.

Information on TruCareer supports career research and decision-making. It is not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice, and no output from the Platform should be relied on as such.

2. Using TruCareer

You may use TruCareer for personal and lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, harmful, or illegal information

• Share confidential company information (trade secrets, unpublished financials, internal documents, or information you're bound to keep confidential)

• Share another person's private information without their permission

• Impersonate another person or organization

• Copy, scrape, mine, or redistribute TruCareer's content or database — including through bots, crawlers, or automated queries — without our prior written permission

• Interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Platform

• Use the Platform to harass, defame, discriminate against, or otherwise harm any person or organization

• Submit content for commercial sabotage, competitive intelligence gathering for a rival product, or coordinated manipulation of ratings/reviews

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for violation of these rules, at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice where urgency requires it.

3. User contributions

Users may submit salary details, interview questions, interview experiences, employer reviews, or other career-related content (“Contributions”). By submitting a Contribution, you confirm that:

• It is accurate to the best of your knowledge and reflects your genuine experience

• You have the right to share it (it is not someone else's confidential or proprietary information)

• It does not contain confidential or privileged information you are not authorized to disclose

• It does not violate any other person's rights, including their privacy or protection from defamation

• It does not violate any confidentiality, non-disparagement, or employment agreement you are bound by

We may review, edit, organize, reject, or remove any Contribution at our discretion to protect quality, safety, legal compliance, or platform integrity. Submission does not guarantee publication.

License grant: By submitting a Contribution, you grant TruCareer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display that Contribution (in whole or in summarized/aggregated form) to operate, promote, and improve the Platform, for as long as we retain it.

4. Anonymous submissions

Where TruCareer offers anonymous submission, we design the Platform to avoid publicly displaying information that identifies you as the contributor, and we do not require your real name to publish a Contribution.

However, anonymity is not absolute. You should not treat anonymous submission as legal protection against disclosure. We may be legally required to disclose account-level data in response to a valid court order or law enforcement request.

5. Salary and career information

Salary information may be user-submitted, drawn from publicly available sources (including government pay scales), or estimated/analyzed by TruCareer, including with AI assistance.

Salary varies by experience, level, skills, location, company, department, benefits, performance, and market conditions. Salary data on TruCareer is provided for general comparison and research only. It is not guaranteed to be exact, complete, current, or representative of any specific offer you may receive.

6. Interview information

Interview questions and experiences may be user-submitted or organized/summarized with AI assistance. This information can change by company, role, department, round, experience level, interviewer, and hiring period. TruCareer does not guarantee that any listed question will be asked in a future interview.

7. AI-generated content

Some content on TruCareer is generated, summarized, or organized using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or generalized guidance and is not: an official company statement, a guaranteed interview answer, professional legal/financial/career advice, or a guarantee of interview or employment outcomes. Review and adapt AI-generated content to your own situation before relying on it.

8. Employer and third-party disputes

If a company, organization, or individual believes information about them on TruCareer is false, defamatory, or violates their rights, they may submit a correction or removal request to trucareer.contact@gmail.com, including: the specific content in dispute and its URL, the basis for the dispute, and supporting evidence where available.

We will review disputed content in good faith within a reasonable time and may request additional information, temporarily restrict visibility of the disputed content, remove or correct the content, or decline the request with reasons if we determine the content is substantiated. This process does not waive TruCareer's or the submitter's legal rights.

9. Content ownership

TruCareer owns or holds the rights to use the Platform's design, branding, software, databases, and original editorial content. Users retain ownership of their original Contributions, subject to the license granted in Section 3.

We may remove or modify content when necessary for quality, safety, privacy, legal compliance, or in response to a valid dispute.

10. Third-party information and trademarks

TruCareer may reference companies, organizations, roles, or third-party services. Company names, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on TruCareer does not imply their endorsement, approval, or affiliation with TruCareer, and is used only for identification and research purposes. Rights holders may request removal or correction of trademark usage via trucareer.contact@gmail.com.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent the law allows.

Using TruCareer does not guarantee a job, an interview, a salary increase, career advancement, or interview success. Users are solely responsible for their own career decisions made using information from the Platform.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TruCareer harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your Contributions; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, including defamation, confidentiality, or privacy rights of another person or organization.

13. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice where practical, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security or integrity of the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting trucareer.contact@gmail.com.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless the parties agree in writing to resolve the dispute through arbitration instead.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as TruCareer develops. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
